Martellus Bennett looked like a lazy, prima donna athlete last night
on Hard Knocks. He had no interest in listening to his positions coach
and his play suffered on the field.
The Dallas Cowboys have never been short on high strung athletes who have a big ego. Martellus does fit the mold. But, if he doesn’t learn to work a little and listen to more experienced players and coaches, his stint in the NFL will be a short one.
Coming from Texas A&M, this is a bit surprising. Most players come out of the school with a strong work ethic. He just may have enough talent to overcome it though. Maybe Terrell Owens can teach him how he made it work!
