The Dallas Cowboys have chosen 3 players in the fourth round of the 2009 NFL Draft. After drafting exactly zero players in Day 1 of the draft, the Cowboys will be drafting 13 players in Day 2.
In the fourth round they have taken a quarterback with the 101st overall pick. Stephen McGee out of Texas A&M didn’t have much of a college career with a struggling Aggies team. But many experts think he has pro potential.
With their next pick, the 110th overall, the Cowboys took Victor Butler. This defensive end out of Oregon State moved up on many draft boards after a good workout in his pro day. He should help provide some depth in the defensive line.
With the 120th pick the Cowboys took another defensive end. Brandon Williams from Texas Tech should fit well in the 3-4 scheme, but he will be a project in the making.
So there you go, Jerry is going after some depth on defense and maybe a shot in the dark at QB. Only 8 more picks left today!
